MRS. JO-ANNE WOODRUFF
KINDERGARTEN TEACHER
|
|
|
|
 |
Mrs. Woodruff began teaching in 1977
and has taught in both Texas and Florida. For a period of time, she
was in publishing for Harcourt Brace, and Pearson Education. However,
she says she is happiest in the classroom working directly with children.
She earned a B.A. degree in Early
Childhood Education in 1974 and an M.Ed. degree in Elementary Education in
1976 both from the University of Florida. She plans to take additional
courses in reading education. |
|
Mrs. Woodruff is originally from Cleveland, Ohio, but moved to South Florida
while in elementary school. She is married to Richard Woodruff,
who is also a teacher, and they have a daughter who attends Seacrest
Christian School."My goal is to
give each child a solid and strong beginning academically as well as to help
them to grow spiritually and socially, in an environment of love and
respect. I strive to foster their sense of wonder and joy in life’s
many discoveries!"
"God has been so good to me! I’m
blessed to have a wonderful family and also a wonderful new career as a
teacher at Seacrest Christian School. I love working at Seacrest
Christian – there is such a sense of family…the fellowship and support of
both faculty and parents is amazing! Our low student/faculty ratio
allows us to focus on each child’s individual needs. I encourage
anyone who is interested in their child's attending our school to schedule a
visit and see our classrooms first hand. We have so much to offer!" |

|
Mrs. Woodruff's motto is "Prayer
works! Always maintain a positive attitude. You’ll find it
is contagious!"
